Cadet International Tennis Tournament Le Chambon, the place to be!

Every February, at an altitude of 1,000 meters in Le Chambon-sur-Lignon, the international elite of young tennis-women and tennis-men come together. These 15 and 16 year-old champions compete on the tennis center’s beautiful courts, surrounded by an enthusiastic public and a team of caring volunteers. That’s what Le Chambon is all about!

Jo Wilfried Tsonga

Certainly the best French player of his generation. 18 singles titles in his career. Top ATP ranking, fifth in the world in 2012. Four doubles titles, silver medal in men’s doubles with Michaël Llodra at the London 2012 Olympics and the Davis Cup in 2017 with the French team.

Marion Bartoli

Our Alti-Ligerian champion. She started playing tennis at the age of 6! French runner-up in singles for 15-16 year-olds in 1999. At 17, she won the US Open Juniors and decided to turn pro! Wimbledon final in 2007, top 10 in the WTA rankings and number one in France.

Aravane Rezai

Stéphanoise “la fleur violette” with a formidable return of serve also made her debut on home soil!

She made her debut at the age of 5. In May 2010, following her victory at the Madrid Open, where she beat the American Venus Williams, Aravane Rezaï summed up her sporting approach as follows: “My father taught me to play at the age of seven, and I owe him my ball striking!
