Gourmet sunset at Pic du Lizieux

The Pic du Lizieux is a magnificent natural space at any time of day, but sunset remains a magical moment to discover the landscapes in incredible light, and to watch the darkness slowly take over until the following day. Here, the team has tested the summer version for you, but there’s nothing to stop you trying out the experience with a nice hot chocolate in your thermos in another season!!!!

Watching the sun go down on top of a sleeping volcano

There’s nothing like a gourmet sunset concocted by your mountain guide, Guide Nature Randonnée, for an original experience.

It’s a unique experience, where you’ll enjoy the last rays of the sun… while tasting a local aperitif or farmhouse fruit juice with local produce : sausage, cheese, rye bread, etc.

Descend by headlamp from the Pic du Lizieux in the middle of the forest, listen to the sounds of nature as night falls, watch the moon and stars…

I love sunsets… Let’s go and see a sunset! – The Little Prince

Tasting the terroir

Once you’ve reached the summit of the Pic du Lizieux, you’ll be able to contemplate the sucs, the landscape of our old volcanoes asleep around you.

Our guide Olivier will introduce you to this Natura 2000 site:

Olivier now proposes an aperitif tasting of local products: local beer or farmhouse fruit juice, accompanied by sausage, artisous cheese and rye bread.

The sky is becoming more and more colorful as the sun descends.
