Where does butter come from? How are cows milked?

Between milking, feeding and caring for the animals, harvesting, demonstrations of production… there’s a lot to see and do! Farmers Julien and Adeline welcome you for visits during the school vacations. Their dream has come true: to work together in their passion, to farm with their own vision, and to offer authentic, top-quality products.

Julien and Oslo will give you a herding dog demonstration. Taste their dairy products. They transform the milk from their Jersiais cows into yoghurts, butter, cheeses, dairy desserts…

Tence La savonnerie du Velay

Come and discover Karen’s farm and its animals, especially her donkeys, and spend an unforgettable moment in their company. She presents her project based on self-sufficiency in food and heating, plus a direct relationship with the consumer. She explains how she makes her organic soap and donkey milk shampoo, using 30% donkey milk. You’ll taste donkey milk and a snack with products from the farm.

Les Vastres The Vieux Moulin sheepfold

Marion and Samuel transform all the milk from their goats and ewes into cheese, yoghurt and ice cream.

Come and cuddle the kids and lambs. Take part in milking the goats and sample their farm produce for an unforgettable experience. Visits are organized every school holiday.

Le Mazet-Saint-Voy GAEC Salers and Bol d'air

Lise and Nicolas Russier breed Salers cows and sell their meat directly during farm visits, or in producers’ stores such as Plein Champ in Tence or Halle fermière in Mazet-Saint-Voy.

Label Bienvenue à la ferme.

Listed as “Boeuf de Haute Loire” and “label rouge Salers” and HVE (Haute Valeur Environnementale). The animals are fed with our mid-mountain hay, cereals and linseed rich in omega3. This GAEC between husband and wife is called “Salers et Bol d’Air”, in connection with the Salers bred breed and also because Lise, as an experienced specialized educator, gives a breath of fresh air to children in difficulty aged 6 to 12. We’re also keen to promote agrotourism, which is why we have a 3 épis “Tourisme handicap” cottage that can also be rented out.

Le Chambon-sur-Lignon GAEC du Nid

Étienne and Mathieu raise dairy cows, organic green lentils, organic potatoes and organic roasted rapeseed oil. They organize guided tours in partnership with the Tourist Office every school holiday.

Mathieu and Étienne open their farm to children, who will discover not only the dairy cows, but also the cultivation of lentils, different varieties of potatoes and roasted rapeseed oil. Based in Manissolle, their farm was a pioneer in organic farming.

March Grand Freydier farm

Adeline welcomes you to her farm on the Ardèche plateau, offering organic beef and homemade ice creams and sorbets.

In summer, Adeline offers storytelling tours of the farm, giving you a chance to discover the farm through a beautiful walk punctuated by readings. Nature and terroir ” stories at Ferme du Grand Freydier, followed by a snack! Certified organic.
