La Bergerie du Vieux Moulin

Come and spend a tender and unforgettable moment with your family at the Bergerie du Vieux Moulin in Les Vastres, where Marion and Samuel Murand, passionate breeders, open the doors of their organic farm situated at an altitude of 1,000 meters. Discover their sheep and dairy goat farm, take part in milking the animals, taste the dairy products processed on site, and enjoy a unique rural setting!

Experience An afternoon on the farm

 Thérèse, grandmother of 3!

Lou, 4, Elina, 6 and Tristan, 9

“We arrived at the sheepfold around 6 p.m., the perfect time to visit Marion’s goats and ewes, as it was milking time. My three grandchildren were able to feed these tender goats, stroke them and watch them bounce around! They really enjoyed this moment of discovery, and I was able to chat with the producers, Marion and Samuel. You can even taste their goat and sheep cheeses and yoghurts.

We were able to take home cheeses with original shapes: rounds, logs, pyramids, tomettes with varying degrees of ripening and organic yoghurts made from whole milk pasteurized with lactic ferments – it’s so good! Don’t miss Elina’s award-winning “Fermier d’or” blueberry yogurt drink! If you’re passing through at the end of February, make a little detour – it’s the birth of the kids!

“I love blueberry yoghurts, they’re so good! Grandma bought some at the farm, so my grandpa can taste them! “Tristan.
