A Respirando area or resort is a site offering a full range of activities and services in a quality environment. Resorts are required to offer a wider range of activities and services, as they also provide accommodation for longer stays.
The basic activities are hiking, mountain biking and cycling. A wide range of optional activities are also available, whether itinerant, on-site or optional. The requirements that make the difference are: quality of practices and accommodation, environment, entertainment and services.

Young couple canoeing at Lac de LavaletteThe whole thing is based on the Respirando brand, with a new slogan for a real state of mind: “100% nature activities, 100% Haute-Loire”. Le Haut-Lignon has been awarded the Station Respirando label by the Haute-Loire Attractivité agency.
This state of mind also includes thesupport of service providers and the people of the Haute-Loire, a professionalization of outdoor activities and accommodation qualified to meet these requirements.
The regional“stations de Pleine Nature” are based on similar specifications, but with a focus on the heart of the resort – in our case, the commune of Le Chambon-sur-Lignon.
