To stroll, enjoy and move with your family A nature weekend

October, the month of Indian summer. No need for summer nostalgia, 9 times out of 10 the sun illuminates our colorful autumn landscapes.
We’d like to invite you to spend a weekend with your family, on a natural, gourmet and rejuvenating program 2 hours from Lyon, in the Haut-Lignon, a destination with the “Famille plus” label.

Saturday

Stroll through the market du Chambon-sur-Lignon

Start the weekend with the Saturday market on Place des Balayes. Fill up on local produce and delicacies at the 50 or so stalls. Color with autumn vegetables, not forgetting mushrooms! Taste the cheeses and charcuteries, and listen to the chatter of the merchants and buyers in the local atmosphere!

Everything for the short circuit, on the stands of local producers, buy :

Organic bread from Chez Maïtala (St-Jeures),
Charcuterie from Sarda (St-Jeures),
Sheep’s milk cheeses from Bergerie du pêcher (Tence),
Jersey cow cheeses and yogurts from GAEC Vach’Mont Bio (Tence),
Goat’s cheese from Bergerie du Vieux Moulin (Les Vastres),
Quince paste from Nicole (Mars),
Fruit juices from Valérie Ferrier (Mazet),
Honey and gingerbread from Rucher de St-Voy (Mazet)

And now you’ve had your fill of local produce!

An opportunity to talk to our farmers. The stalls are at their busiest at this time of year, our gardens render beautifully in autumn, and our market gardeners will be offering you all the vegetables in season.

A lunch break in Le Chambon-sur-Lignon
